she pauses when she enters the foyer of the mansion, in awe of just how massive it was. sure it seemed like that on the outside, but something about the inside made it seem that much more grander. it reminded her of mrs. weasley’s house in a way she’d never utter that aloud though, not in front of draco. her eyes follow the direction of his hand, watching as one of them entered the room.

         as surprising as it may seem, her being a muggleborn is often forgotten. so when the question’s posed, his eyebrows knit towards one another and his expression morphs into one of disbelief. ’ you can’t be serious— ’ looking down at the female as they climb the steps, his hand winds up pausing when it reaches the doorknob.

           magical creatures wasn’t a subject hermione favored, still, she filters through her mind in an attempt for any clue as to what creature he was speaking of. her head upwards turns to view his expression       seemingly stunned herself that she doesn’t know what it is. 
             ‘ yes of course we have pets in the muggle world, we just don’t call them ‘crup’s.’
